CANCER AWARENESS......Any Cancer journey is a sh** show, within a year of each other is just unfair.....
This day last year I jumped my horses for the last time in 2025. I was excited for millstreet, enjoying being back at work and planning more hours from September and then I found the lump.... my gut is rarely wrong and I just knew.
What followed has been one of the worst years I have ever put in and coming back is more difficult than I could have ever imagined. The second lot of chemo has shook me to the bones.
I want to do and be so much more than i am right now..... i know it will come but I am not feeling that patient right now 😭
Yesterday was a turning point with Harvey although we had a pole on the ground completely my fault I know hes back....we are so in sync its crazy. Hermés has stepped up and is carrying me through mistakes I don't usually make and just being a star. Daisy 🥹🥹the sweetest angel of a pony looking after my girls and giving them the confidence to be like mummy some day.
I will start working full days on Wednesdays the week after next and I am looking forward to it. Will it exhaust me, 💯 but will I enjoy it! Of course I will. I love my job, I love my salon and I love being with my team.
If you have a friend or family member who is on this road, just know that sometimes all you need to do is show up, be there, listen and give a hug.
I have been shown so much kindness by complete strangers and I honestly only ever post to raise awareness and let people know they are not alone.
