Some BIG NEWS here at Fleurs de Liss!!
While things may have appeared quiet on our social accounts the reality is that since Nov it's been pretty manic! Not just with commissions and online orders but with my decision to upskill and take on the craft of Goldsmithing too!
After training in Dublin at The School of Jewellery and subsequently learning stone setting from Lee Harding of Da Capo Goldsmiths, I decided to take things a step further.
Using the skills I'd learnt, I built a portfolio of work to present to the Design and Crafts Council of Ireland as part of my application for a place on their 2 year Goldsmithing and Design Skills course.
This course is world renowned and open to all EU residence with only 12 places awarded every 2 years.
I am so delighted to announce that I've been selected for a place on the course!!! I'll begin the 2 year course in Sept at The Design and Crafts Council workshop in The Castle Yard, Kilkenny.
This is a full time programme, 9-5, Mon to Fri for 44 weeks each year and will required additional hours to complete different projects.
While I aim to maintain Fleurs de Liss during this time, I ask you to please allow ample time when making an order!

Our good friends at Little Pleasures Lingerie have made the hard decision to close their doors for good before Christmas.
