Finding a reliable plumber can be a challenge, so we were delighted when a friend recommended Tyler Thelwall Plumbing, and we'd also seen him recommended on the Kinsale Notice Board page.

From the very first message, Tyler was professional and responsive. We texted him asking if he could come out to give us a quote, and within just a few hours he was at the salon, exactly as arranged. He took the time to listen carefully to everything we wanted done, asked the right questions, and never made us feel rushed.

We had quite a large list of plumbing jobs to tackle, and a few days later Tyler sent us a detailed quote. The best part was how accommodating he was—because we're open 7 days a week, closing wasn't really an option. Tyler arranged to complete all of the work over three evenings after business hours, meaning there was zero disruption to our clients or our day-to-day operations.

Every single time he said he'd be there, he was. Punctual, dependable, and a pleasure to deal with.

The quality of his workmanship is excellent. Everything was completed neatly and to a very high standard, and it's obvious he takes great pride in what he does. What impressed us most, though, was that he genuinely listened to what we wanted and carried it out exactly as requested. No shortcuts, no unnecessary upselling—just honest, skilled workmanship and fantastic customer service.

As we are heading into summer, we ask that appointments are made at least 2 weeks in advance, specially when it comes to colours.

We have been getting a lot of short notice requests, and we are up the walls, so just not possible to give short notice appointments.

Also, pls remember to arrive on time for your appointment as traffic and parking is mental.

Since sharing Zian’s story following the RTÉ programme, we now have a date for his surgery — 15th April.
