The first photo shows nails done in another salon — and unfortunately, it’s a perfect example of how gel nails should not look.
The product was applied far too thick, especially around the cuticles, the lifting was severe, the apex placement was incorrect, and the old growth was extremely visible. On top of that, the gel wasn’t cured properly, which can become risky for the natural nail plate.

When lifting happens like this, water, moisture, soap, and everyday products can easily get trapped underneath the product. This may lead to bacteria growth, irritation, and long-term nail damage.

Removing this kind of application is never a quick or simple process. Poorly applied gel is often very difficult to remove safely. It requires:
• choosing the correct drill bit
• working with precision and control
• removing every lifted area carefully
• protecting the natural nail plate from over-filing

After safe removal, the natural nails were gently refined and properly prepared so the new application could adhere perfectly — thin, balanced, durable, and natural-looking, exactly as it should be 🤍

Healthy structure, clean cuticle work, proper adhesion, and safe technique always come first.
