Hey everyone 👋
After 22 amazing years of hairdressing, I’ve made the very difficult decision to hang up my scissors ✂️
I’ll be finishing up in Eden’s Hair Salon on the 3rd of January.

I want to sincerely thank each and every one of you who has sat in my chair over the years — for the chats, the laughs, the trust, and the support. It has meant more to me than I can put into words.

I wish you all a wonderful Christmas and a very Happy New Year 🎄✨
And as they say, when one chapter closes, another one opens 🤍

✂️ A December Day in a Donegal Salon 🎄

In Letterkenny every Christmas, when the rain comes in sideways,
We tame hair that’s gone pure wild from them gales off Knocknagarrey’s.
Hats come off and we all stare—“Sweet Jesus, who blew you there?!”
“Ah sure, I only walked from Tesco!” (And me fringe’s in despair.)

The salon’s booked for weeks on end—no breaks, no mercy found,
We’re runnin’ round like turbo elves with tinsel trailin’ on the ground.
Stylists dream of hot coffee… but it’s stone cold by the time we see it,
We give it one sad sniff and a sigh—“Ah well, maybe next year I’ll drink it.”

Lunch? Don’t be daft—there’s none of that, not in December’s roar.
We live on Roses and Celebrations, sure we’ve a stash behind every door.
We nibble them between the blow-dries, foil packets, sprays and chat,
By 5pm we’ve eaten half the tin—(and swear it wasn’t us who did that).

Still we conjure party glamour, fix the lads’ fresh fades with pride,
And send every woman out lookin’ like she’s ready for the Worldwide.
We battle rain, wind, craic and chaos—yet somehow keep the heads all styled…
Sure only Donegal hairdressers could stay this calm and mild!

So good luck to all stylists in this crazy month ahead,
And Merry Christmas, Happy New Year—from our mad salon to yours instead! 🎄
