Curly haired goodness! 😏
Curly hair can be hard to work with. The differing patterns and coils mean you have to think more about placement as you’re colouring the hair!
Lightening has a drying effect too, which is something curls really don’t appreciate. If we can, we try to stay away from bleach completely and lean towards high lift tints for our curly haired clients to protect the integrity of their curls and avoid damaging the curl pattern or causing frizz.
As Kildare’s only curly haired expert salon, we know how to help you get the best from your curls. If you haven’t been to us for a curl by curl haircut, what are you waiting for? 😝

Sid before: perfectly lovely, slightly beige.
Sid after: blonde. Bouncy. Beachy. Bloody brilliant. 😂
Our junior stylist Sid has had a serious hair upgrade, taking his natural fair hair and turning it into a much brighter, more dimensional beachy blonde.
Basically, he went from “nice hair, Sid” to “alright, calm down with the hair.” 😂☀️
And honestly… we’re not mad about it.

We’ve got one very rare spot opening up in the Hairography team.
We’ve been fully staffed for ages, but one of our stylists is moving to another country, so we’re looking for a strong, confident hair stylist to join our salon in Naas.
Someone who’s confident doing whatever walks through the door, takes their craft seriously and wants to work somewhere they can actually enjoy doing hair.
At Hairography, we offer flexibility, education and ongoing opportunities to develop, as well as a genuinely warm, fun salon environment.
We also do things a little differently. If your client needs extra time, you get the extra time. We’re not interested in rushing great hair just to get to the next appointment.
We work hard, because that’s the job but we also genuinely look after our team, value the people who work with us and want everyone to feel proud of where they work.

Dolly understood hair like few others ever could.
The wigs. The volume. The curls. The blonde. The glamour. Every look bigger, bolder and more unapologetically Dolly than the last. ✨
But behind all that incredible hair was an extraordinary woman, intelligent, hilarious, generous and full of heart.

A brief of red + square… and Claudine took it somewhere extraordinary.
Today she officially graduated as a Schwarzkopf Professional Colour Master, and this was the final creative piece that brought everything together.
Inspired by the veiled, avant-garde aesthetic of Alexander McQueen, Claudine created a precision square bob using multiple custom red tones, rich copper depth and softly bleached square panels that melt seamlessly through the hair like light passing through fabric.
Every section was intentional. Every tone was placed with purpose. The result is high-fashion editorial hair that feels bold, architectural and beautifully wearable all at once.
We couldn’t be prouder of the artist Claudine continues to be everyday at Hairography Naas. Her attention to detail, creativity and technical colour work are simply exceptional.

A little truth from behind the chair for you…
Every day in salons across the country, we welcome familiar faces, share in life’s milestones, celebrate big moments, and spend hours helping people feel like the very best version of themselves.
But here’s the part most clients never see...
The toll it takes on the bodies creating all of that.
Jason has been doing this job for over two decades. He pours his whole heart into every colour, every cut, every transformation. But over the years, the physical demands of this profession eventually caught up with him.
His injury became so severe that he needed major surgery and had to step away from the chair while he recovered.
We’re sharing this because burnout and injury in our industry are real, and they often go unnoticed behind the smiles, the kindness, and the care hairdressers give so freely.
Hairdressing is an incredibly rewarding career, but it’s also physically demanding. Long hours on our feet. Repetitive movements. Constant strain on our backs, shoulders, wrists and hands. It’s a side of the profession most people never think about.
So the next time you’re in the salon, remember there’s a person behind the chair giving everything they have to make you feel your very best.
