Our Story – From a Small Dream to Perfect Studio Navan

Perfect Studio Navan was not created overnight. It was built step by step, through hard work, courage, family support and a strong belief that quality should always come first.

When I first arrived in Ireland, I already had many years of experience in the beauty industry, but I spoke very little English and had no idea how to start again in a completely new country. I knew my profession, I loved what I did, but I had to find a way to turn my experience into a new beginning.

My first step was working as a nail technician in a local salon. After around six months, I realised that I wanted something different. I wanted the freedom to work to the standards I believed in, to use modern techniques and, most importantly, to give every client the quality and care they deserved.

So, with very little English and a lot of fear, I decided to try working for myself.

I found a small table to rent inside another salon in Navan. I was so nervous about the meeting that my son Eugen, who was only around 16 at the time, came with me and helped me communicate. His support during those early days meant more to me than he probably realised.

I invested the savings I had into my equipment, paid my rent and deposit and started.

Some days I had no clients. Some days I had one. On a good day, maybe three.

Then came a day I will never forget. I earned around €350 in one day. At my previous job, I had been earning around €400 for five days of work.

For me, that moment wasn’t simply about money. It was proof that maybe I could actually do this.

I told myself: don’t give up.

Little by little, clients started returning. They recommended me to friends and family, and my name began to grow through word of mouth. I didn’t have perfect English or a big advertising budget. What I had was my experience, my hands and my determination to give people work I could genuinely be proud of.

The journey was far from easy. The salon where I rented my table unexpectedly closed, and within only a few weeks I had to find somewhere else. Another opportunity followed, but the circumstances changed and it didn’t work out.
