This week marks 36 years of Cutloose! 🎉

When I opened the doors on July 21st, 1989, as a naive 21 year old, I could never have imagined the journey that lay ahead. From those early days in the original salon on Henry Street to the exciting move to our new home eight years ago, each chapter has brought its own mix of challenges, growth, and unforgettable memories.

Over the past 36 years, I’ve had the privilege of working with some truly amazing people. The friendships formed, with both staff and clients, are what make this journey so meaningful. It’s never just been about hair, it’s been about community, creativity, and connection.

Of course, no long road is without its bumps. But every twist has helped shape who we are today. Through it all, the support of my brilliant team has been unmatched, especially the incredible Georgina who as stood by my side for the past 36 years, weathering each storm and every celebration. This would never have been possible without our loyal clients, and my ever-encouraging family, your support has meant the world to me.

Cutloose has grown beyond what I could have imagined back in 1989, and I’m so proud of everything we’ve built together. Thank you to everyone who’s been a part of this story so far. Here’s to continuing the journey with love, laughter, and great hair! ✂️💕

We are currently seeking an apprentice to join our team of seasoned professionals, in our lively salon, on Henry St. Newbridge to supply demand in our ever expanding Salon.

Join Ireland’s FIRST nationally-recognised hairdressing qualification! With excellent education and career advancement opportunities will be available for the right candidate through the National Hairdressing apprenticeship and KWETB over a 3 year period to become a fully qualified stylist.
