What an amazing experience for Angelina competing in her first U.S. Kids Golf European Championship on Scottish soil. ⛳🏴

The tournament over the 3 days was very challenging, and after the first round of 11 over, Angelina showed great determination and character to pick herself back up with rounds of 77 in both Round 2 and Round 3.

To move from 10th place up to finish in 6th place was something she can be very proud of.

More importantly, she made lots of new friends, learned so much from the experience, and created memories that will stay with her forever.

Congratulations as well to all the winners and to all the young golfers who competed this week. A special thank you also to the organisers for putting together such a fantastic event and experience for the players and families.

Angelina would also like to say a huge thank you to everyone for all the kind messages, support, and well wishes she received throughout the week — it meant so much to her and our family. ❤️🇮🇪

Angelina proudly represents her home club, The Heath Golf Club, She is also a proud junior member of The Heritage Golf Club, Portlaoise Golf Club, and Portarlington Golf Club, where she spends countless hours practising and developing her game and she has received great support and encouragement .

A special thank you as well to her coach, Eamonn, for all the time, guidance, encouragement, and belief he has given Angelina throughout her journey so far.

Best of luck as well to all the other young players competing this week — may you all enjoy the experience and create great memories together.

No matter what the result is for Angelina, just being there and competing at this level is already a fantastic achievement and a wonderful experience for her. We are incredibly proud of her dedication, hard work, and love for the game.
