You’ll work 4 days per week in our busy, creative salon with 1 day per week in WCFE as part of The National Apprenticeship.

1 Month to go!!!!

So some of you may know already but if not on the 2nd of February Niamh will be travelling as part of a HAIRAID CHARITY PROJECT to MANILA in the PHILIPPINES!!! I CANNOT BELIEVE ITS FINALLY HAPPENING!!

Firstly, let me share what I will be doing!! I will join volunteer hairdressers, in teaching slum and street people in developing countries how to cut hair... We will work directly in their communities, and it is a very real and raw experience to see how they live, and what they have to manage. Our locations will be In local street and slum communities and teaching in the men’s and women’s jails.

On the last and final day we hold a celebration party, and everyone that has completed the training and can do the haircuts gets a personal certificate from Hair Aid. They then also get a scissor kit with scissors, clips, a comb and a cape all in a closed bag which I will be organising before I leave so all help from local distributors is greatly appreciated so that they have the tools to begin earning money from hair cutting. Locals can go on to open their own businesses – even on the side of a road – to start earning money to feed their children.
This has also been on my to do list and a dream to give back to others ,I would really appreciate if you could help me and donate anything you can using my Revolut link attached https://revolut.me/niamhchayden and link in my bio on social media or just drop into the salon where I will be collecting over the next month!! The weekend before I go I will have a raffle for everyone who donates for 1st prize a colour and cut of your choice, and 2nd a hair hamper!!
