Our beautiful girl, Matilda, is fighting for her life tonight. Just 24 hours ago she was ‘tucking into’ her evening feed. Matilda has just been diagnosed with an abscess at the base of her brain. The rapid onset of this life or death situation has stunned everyone here at the sanctuary. Emergency treatment in the form of multiple injections has been administered. The next 24 hours will determine whether she survives or not. We are heartbroken watching her suffering. Her breathing is laboured, her tongue lolls uncontrollably out of her mouth and she is confused and disoriented. Poor baby. It’s going to be a long night but we will be with her willing her on. Please say a prayer for sweet Matilda. 🙏🏻❤️
