The most amazing training with amazing people 💚

Some experiences change your outlook forever… I’ve just completed my Oncology Aesthetics training at @cliffhousehotel with the incredible Louise O'Loughlan @oti_ireland_uk, and honestly, it’s been one of the most rewarding few days of my career. We laughed, we cried, and shared something so meaningful with the most amazing group of like- minded women. Hearing the stories of cancer survivors and being able to provide tailored, gentle treatments for them was deeply humbling. 💗 I’m so proud to now be trained in Oncology Aesthetics — knowing that whoever walks through my salon doors, at any stage of their cancer journey, I can care for them with empathy, compassion, and confidence. And to hear from those ladies how impactful this is for them — how cancer can take away so much, and how lovely it is to still be able to offer adapted treatments — that really touched my heart. There are currently only around 350 therapists trained in OTI in all of Ireland and as privileged as I am to be part of that, we need to push as an industry for far more awareness around oncology care. I’ve seen firsthand the difference it makes to these incredible clients, and we need more therapists trained and more understanding of how to safely adapt our treatments. These clients deserve the same gold-standard care as every other client who walks through our doors. My little apprentice, Zoey, has been very hard at work lately, taking her job VERY seriously. While I’m fully booked until January, Zoey has some availability outside of nap times.
