Perioral dermatitis is an inflammatory skin condition that shows up as small red bumps, dryness, and irritation around the mouth (and sometimes nose or eyes).
It can be triggered by things like heavy creams, topical steroids, or overusing active skincare. Strip your routine right back to a gentle cream cleanser, moisturiser and gentle SPF. I also find using a gentle skin purifying spray can help.
