Why be ordinary when you can be extraordinary?

A lash lift is one of my favourite ways to have a mini glow up 😮‍💨

👉🏼Did you know: natural blondes, redheads and grey hairs are more resistant to lamination and tints

This is because less natural pigment = less porosity

Melanin doesn’t just give colour 👉🏼 it affects porosity

Blonde hair has less melanin, which often means:
✨Lower porosity
✨Fewer microscopic gaps for the solution to enter

This makes the lamination chemicals slower to soften and reset the bonds within the hair shaft itself (I always say, imagine a ladder, and imagine that ladder turning into a rope ladder - it softens during step 1)

When using a system like cysteamine based lamination solutions it will give you more control as a brow tech as the ‘low and slow’ process is gentler on all hairs (even resistant ones!)

After a lamination, all hair types are more porous, and tint can ‘grab’ stronger than usual, the hair will look darker also once step 3 is applied (this is a nourishing conditioner that gives the signature glossy look) - this wet slick look is only temporary while the brows need to be nourished (about a day realistically)
