Never a dull moment lads 🤒😂 so we were up til 1:30 in A Dublin B&B last ni doing colour which went pete tong as the shower had no hose so awkward out rinsing 😑 so the black bled into the red, so after 3 hours sleep flew into Gatwick & restarted the colour at 8am was on stage doing a demo with The Darryn Pitman at 10:30 & back on stage competing for British Master Barbers Barber of Yr at 12:30 & considering the s**t hitting the fan💩🙈 it didnt turn out half bad much happier with my work than 2 weeks ago thats for sure🙏🏼 really awesome work by Sam & Micky to 💯🙌🏼 so its in the hands of the judges now dont fancy there job! Thank you Model Hugo a trooper never complains a dream to work with as always🙏🏼 & my stylist Beyond Man killing it as always this is defo my fave ever look💯👊🏼 & Thank you to the The Pink Octopus - Dreadshop for our colab on this sick custom clip in dreadlock 🙌🏼 & thanks for all the messages of support🙏🏼 only 2 hours til results So fingers crossed for me lads 🙏🏼


Delighted after months of keeping this on the Qt🤐 i can finally announce a huge career highlight that i am to receive an Irish Hairdressers Federation Icon Award 😮 This is voted by your peers in the industry & is the highest Accolade of Achievement in Irish Hairdressing & is said to be the equilivent of an MBE in terms of hair. I am the 1st Barber receiving the IHF Icon Media Award as "an individual who has exhibited professionalism, creativity & artistic endeavour & who has been regularly identified & published as a go to individual by the media" as recognition for my 12 Magazine covers in the past yr. & even more proud that im the only recipient representing Cork or Barbers on the night. Which is known as the Oscars of Irish Hairdressing, V surreal as theres a red carpet, 4 course meal & as i go up on stage a 5 minute interview i filmed a few weeks ago in HOUSE OF COLOUR with the awesome David Campbell will be played on the big screen. Im still in shock i hoped maybe 1 day in 10 years or more i might get something like this but really not this soon! Its such an honour to receive my Award on the night alongside fellow recipients, Legends like Gerry Hynes, Sarah Mason, Richard Drumgoole etc. Huge Thank you everyone at the IHF means the world to me to have my hard work recognised🙏🏼 & thank you Models, Photographers, Stylist Beyond Man Hairbond Ireland Matakki Scissors The Crop Shop Barbers Charlotte & family & friends in the industry & everyone for the continued support🙌🏼il keep my big Miss America speech for the night 👸🏼✌🏼️💁🏼😂& Thank you Evening Echo for the write up yesterday always a great support 🙏🏼

Great news on my return from hols. From over a thousand entries from over 30 countries worldwide i finished runner up in Hairbond United Kingdom World Championship & win £250 worth of products as part of my prize😊👊🏼 gutted not to take the Title but a Huge congrats to Champion Claire Heenan from the Awesome Equinox Gentleman's Refinery Barbers Southampton on her great victory.
