โ ๏ธIf you have PCOS, I need you to stop blaming PCOS for everything.
Seriously.
Because this one misunderstanding keeps so many women stuck.
When you think PCOS is causing your weight gain...
Your inflammation...
Your body pain...
Your irregular cycles...
You end up treating the diagnosis instead of asking the question that actually matters:
What's causing the PCOS in the first place?
For many women, PCOS isn't the root problem.
It's the symptom.
๐ฅThe inflammation.
๐ฅThe insulin resistance.
๐ฅThe chronic stress.
๐ฅThe hormonal dysfunction.
Those are often the things driving BOTH your PCOS and the symptoms you blame on it.
This shift in thinking changes everything. ๐คฏ
Because once you stop asking,
"How do I treat my PCOS?"
..and start asking,
"What's driving my PCOS?"
Your entire treatment plan becomes more targeted.
And that's when women finally stop guessing.
๐ Comment READY and I'll send you my free training that teaches you the different root causes of PCOS, the blood tests to ask for, and how to figure out what's actually driving yours.
14/07/2026
It takes three months...
You can genuinely resolve your PCOS in as little as three months.
And what drives me crazy is that resolving PCOS is often so much easier than women are led to believe - but you have to understand what is actually going on.
With many health conditions, you do not necessarily need to understand every detail in order to get better. You can follow the right treatment plan and still see results.
But PMOS/PCOS is different.
There are so many different root causes, and in the beginning, most of the progress happens underneath the surface. You may be making real improvements in your hormones and blood work before you notice any external change in your period, ovulation, weight, skin, or hair.
That is why awareness and education matter so much with PCOS.
You need to:
โก๏ธ Understand your blood work
โก๏ธ Learn the different root causes of PCOS
โก๏ธ Identify what is driving your specific case
โก๏ธ Follow the right action plan
โก๏ธ Monitor your progress and make adjustments
You cannot just follow a random PCOS plan and hope it works. And you simply do not get enough education during a 15-minute doctorโs appointment.
The best way to resolve your PCOS is to fully understand your own situation and know exactly what you are working toward.
Iโve taught thousands of women how to do this.
๐Comment READY, and Iโll teach you too.
If insulin resistance is contributing to your PCOS - even slightly - you need to know whether it is present and what pattern it may be following.
These are the tests to ask your doctor for:
1๏ธโฃ GLUCOSE + INSULIN TOLERANCE TEST
Ask for a **75-gram OGTT with insulin added**:
โข Fasting glucose + insulin
โข 30 minutes
โข 60 minutes
โข 90 minutes
โข 120 minutes
You must specifically ask for insulin. This is one of the best ways to detect insulin resistance that may be missed by standard bloodwork.
2๏ธโฃ BASIC METABOLIC TESTS
โข Fasting glucose
โข Hemoglobin A1c
โข Triglycerides
โข HDL cholesterol
You cannot look at only one value and assume insulin resistance is absent.
๐๐งADDITIONAL CLUES
๐ฉLiver insulin resistance:
ALT, AST, GGT, triglycerides, fasting glucose, fasting insulin and signs of fatty liver.
๐ฉMuscle insulin resistance:
Your glucose and insulin pattern throughout the OGTT provides the most useful clues. CRP and sedimentation rate may also reveal contributing inflammation.
๐ฉFat-tissue insulin resistance:
Leptin, adiponectin, leptin-to-adiponectin ratio, hs-CRP, sedimentation rate, ferritin, triglycerides and HDL.
๐ฉOvarian hyperinsulinemia:
SHBG, total testosterone, free testosterone, free androgen index, DHEA-S, fasting insulin, OGTT insulin levels and ovulation patterns.
No single test gives you the complete picture.

One of my favourite things about this community? ๐
Your questions.
This comment came from one of my recent videos, and it's such an important one because it highlights something most people don't realize...
Yes, it's possible to have more than one type.
And understanding which type (or types) you're dealing with completely changes how I would approach treatment.
This is exactly why I always say:
๐ Stop looking for generic advice.
๐ Start looking for answers that actually fit *๐๐ผ๐๐ฟ* body.
Because the right strategy starts with understanding what's really going on.
Keep the questions coming... they're helping so many other women learn too. ๐๐
"How much protein should I actually eat to improve my insulin resistance... without overdoing it?"
For most women, protein should make up roughly 20โ30% of total daily calories.
That means:
๐ฅ 1,500 calories = 75โ113g protein
๐ฅ 1,800 calories = 90โ135g protein
๐ฅ 2,000 calories = 100โ150g protein
๐ฅ 2,400 calories = 120โ180g protein
The equation is simple:
(Daily Calories ร Protein %) รท 4 = Grams of Protein
But here's what almost everyone gets wrong...
I don't actually calculate protein based on calories first.
I calculate it based on your body.
โ๏ธ If you have more muscle mass, you'll typically need to be closer to 30% than 20%.
โ๏ธ If you're more physically active, you'll also generally benefit from being closer to 30%.
โ๏ธ If you're less active or have lower muscle mass, you'll often do well closer to 20%.
Because the goal isn't to eat the most protein.
The goal is to eat the right amount for your body.

You will literally lose at least *10+ pounds* if you follow these exact steps, and in this order.
The catch is that you have to message me the moment you hit your first 10-pound loss ๐.
This is the first time that I've gained weight that wasn't related to pregnancy in almost 10 years.
And for me, this is a *MAJOR* accomplishment because I used to have the most horrible relationship with food.
I used to be a major binge eater and constantly go up and down the same 20 pounds.
I also used to exercise obsessively.
From the time I was about 15, my life was just up 20 pounds, down 20 pounds, up and down, over and over again.
I'm honestly so proud of myself that it took me so long to even gain this weight in the first place, and that I am approaching it with such a sense of calm.
*Now I'm going to show you exactly how I'm going to lose this weight and keep it off.*
And you're invited to do it with me.
*STEP #1*
So much of our ability to lose weight comes from being in a state of calm.
We lose way more weight when we're relaxed than when we're stressed.
The story that you tell yourself about your weight is going to dictate how calmly you approach your weight loss versus how stressed you'll be.
So...
*What is the story that I'm telling myself about this weight gain?*
For me this weight is just a sign that life got really unmanageable.
The weight gain is really just a representation of the fact that a lot of things shifted in my life.
It's not a reflection of my worth.
This weight gain is simply a representation that a lot of things in my life got out of rhythm.
And because of that, I'm CALMLY embracing the steps I need to take because again, the weight loss is a representation of my life getting back into sync.
If you want the rest of my CALM weight-loss protocol, including how I'm setting up my food plan, my calorie target, my exercise goals, and the exact steps I'm using to lose the weight and keep it off...
Comment ๐ช๐๐ก๐ก๐๐ฅ below, and I'll send you the exact plan.
No catch. I simply want you to live your best life โค๏ธ

One of the biggest mistakes I see with PCOS isn't whether a woman is prescribed Metformin.
It's that women are prescribed it - or told they don't need it - without anyone first identifying
Is it insulin resistance?
Inflammation?
High DHEA?
High testosterone?
Because those aren't the same problem.
And they shouldn't all be treated the same way.
The frustrating part?
Most women don't even know which blood tests they should be asking for, so they assume their labs are "normal" when critical information was never tested in the first place.
That's why I believe every woman with PCOS should know how to read her own blood work.
Not because you're replacing your doctor.
Because you're becoming an informed advocate for your own health.
๐ Check the comments for the link to my blood work training so you know exactly which labs to ask for, how to interpret them, and what they actually tell you about your PCOS.

Sleep is what determines whether your effort actually pays off.
And if you're anything like me, you know how devastating it is to pour in time, money, energy, and effort... and have almost nothing to show for it.
Don't make the mistake of becoming more obsessive about food, buying more supplements, or exercising even harder.
Instead, focus on ๐ฌ๐๐๐ฃ you sleep - not just ๐๐ค๐ฌ ๐ข๐ช๐๐ you sleep.
After working with thousands of women over the past 15 years, I've noticed one pattern over and over again:
The women who consistently get to sleep earlier GET BETTER PROGRESS.
The hours between *๐ญ๐ฌ:๐ฌ๐ฌ ๐ฝ.๐บ. ๐ฎ๐ป๐ฑ ๐ฎ:๐ฌ๐ฌ ๐ฎ.๐บ.* seem to be especially important because this is when the brain's *glymphatic system* is most active, helping clear metabolic waste while you sleep. These hours also coincide with many of your body's overnight repair processes that support hormone regulation, immune function, recovery, and brain health.
When you consistently miss those hours, your body doesn't get the same nightly reset that your brain, hormones, and immune system need to function at their best.
So if you've been doing everything you can but still feel stuck...
Put your energy into changing ๐ฌ๐๐๐ฃ you go to sleep.
You may be surprised by how much your body changes when it finally gets the chance to properly reboot.
