She almost exclusively uses mineral make up, which does not contain any harsh or potentially harmful ingredients. Vanessa’s one-on-one make up tutorial will teach you so much more than how to apply your make up. Vanessa focuses on practical skin care for all ages, and shows you how to use the make up that you already own to enhance your best features. This service is tailored personally to you, based on your age, skin type, eye colour and the desired effect. In addition, Vanessa offers group tutorials for up to 6 women or teenagers, where she explains good skin care and make up habits, debunks some popular myths, and helps you understand the contents of your cosmetics bag. Vanessa’s workshops and private tutorial sessions help debunk common myths about skincare and make up, and help women of all ages make sense of their skin, their makeup bag, and that overwhelming selection when they go shopping. An hour or two with Vanessa and you will be shocked at how easy it is to look after your face, and how little money you truly need to spend on your makeup! Each workshop or tutorial is personalized for the participants, guaranteeing they get the best value out of their time spent with her. Vanessa’s passion for for safe skincare and cosmetics began in the early 1990s when she worked at a natural store in Jerusalem (Teva Sheni on Derech Bethlehem). The education she received while working in that role, encouraged her to always check the ingredients of anything that came in contact with her body. Many years later, as a new mother, Vanessa, together with her husband Keith, owned and operated a resale business for safe skincare and cosmetics - notably Burts Bees & The Badger Company products among other brands. From 2008-2014 Vanessa was a rep for Jordan Essentials, a US based skincare and cosmetics company that does not use parabens, mineral oil, isopropyl alcohol, artificial colours or other unnecessary ingredients in their products. Vanessa really enjoyed educating others about safe skincare, and now brings her knowledge and experience back to Israel to share with you. Vanessa continues to learn constantly, by attending continuing education classes at various beauty schools in Israel, and the occasional private session to learn something really amazing. In addition, Vanessa keeps herself up to date in the world of skincare and beauty, always educating herself about the latest ingredients on the market, researching to understand whether they are genuine or bogus!
