Nigeria government is unlawfully detaining and incarcerating Nnamdi Kanu simply because he refused to join the Nigeria Government's Board of Corrupt Officials. And, the IPOB leader willingly accepted it because he valued the freedom of his people and land more than mere riches acquired criminally.
Remember that former Nigerian president Muhammadu Buhari around 2016/2017 offered Nnamdi Kanu some plots of land in Abuja with some huge amount of money to stop Biafra agitation which Nnamdi Kanu in totality rejected immediately.

This bold gesture by Nnamdi Kanu is one amongst many other reasons he told IPOB members that he won't disappoint them but instead, they will be the one that will disappoint him.
