Acidity and heartburn can be quite common during pregnancy, and I experienced these issues in both of my pregnancies. However, I found some tips that worked wonders for me, and I’m excited to share them with you! 😊

1️⃣ Vajrasana (Thunderbolt Pose): I’ve been practicing this pose after meals since the beginning of my pregnancy. It’s been a game-changer for relieving indigestion and heartburn! Sit on your heels with your calves beneath your thighs, maintain a four-finger gap between your knees, and keep your back straight. Gradually increase your time in the pose from 2 to 10 minutes. Deep breathing while sitting enhances its benefits. Try it and feel the relief!

2️⃣ Stay Hydrated: Drink plenty of water and opt for soothing beverages like coconut water, honey water, or lime water. Avoid sugary drinks to keep your digestion smooth.

3️⃣ Eat Mindfully: Eat small, frequent meals and chew slowly to aid digestion. Making a fine paste in your mouth before swallowing can help reduce heartburn.

You can start practicing these tips even before conception or anytime during pregnancy. Typically, heartburn intensifies during the second trimester and may ease by the third trimester.
