As a yoga teacher, my heart fills with deep pride when I look at this incredible student of mine. She has been committed to her yoga journey for seven years, showing up with dedication, curiosity, and grace. Life tested her strength when she was diagnosed with lung cancer, and she had to take a five-month break for treatment and healing.
But her spirit never dimmed. With resilience and quiet courage, she returned to her mat and resumed her practice—patiently, mindfully, and consistently. Today, she is once again moving into advanced asanas, not through force, but through the power of her perseverance and faith in her own healing journey.
Watching her grow, fall, rise, and now flourish again has been one of the most inspiring chapters of my teaching experience. She is a living reminder that yoga is not just about postures—it’s about strength of heart, devotion, and the beautiful ability to begin again. # #
