The Fashion Store The word Nautanky comprises of two words, nau- meaning Nine and tanky meaning Silver coins.
In the folk lore of Northern India there is a legend of a Graceful Princes or Shehzadi with incomparable beauty and so delicate that her weight was equivalent to Nine Silver Coins. This Legend took the shape of an operatic drama by the name of NAUTANKY SHEHZADI and it became so popular that the name became that of the genre itself. At Nautanky we have two lines Pukka Saheb and Shehzadi for men and women respectively. There are many established designers showcasing their collection. We at Nautanky help the designers and our guests in reaping maximum rewards.
