Merf Medical Emergency resilience foundation

Today nationwide campaign to immunize more than 90 million children against the deadly measles and rubella diseases across Pakistan. This will be one of the largest immunization campaigns in the world.
The campaign will be conducted in public and private health facilities, outreach centres as well as educational facilities, for 12 days from November 15th to 27th. Nearly half of the children who are to be immunized are enrolled in schools. The MR vaccine will be available in routine immunization schedule for children at 9 months and 15 months of age.

𝗠𝗘𝗥𝗙 𝘀𝗮𝘃𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗹𝗶𝘃𝗲𝘀 𝗶𝗻 𝗿𝗲𝗺𝗼𝘁𝗲 𝗹𝗼𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀 𝗶𝗻 𝗠𝗲𝗿𝗴𝗲𝗱 𝗗𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗿𝗶𝗰𝘁 𝗼𝗳 𝗞𝗵𝘆𝗯𝗲𝗿 𝗣𝗮𝗸𝗵𝘁𝘂𝗻𝗸𝗵𝘄𝗮.
a new born child delivered through NVD at home from village Ghotak, in Ghiljo, Orakzai district. The newborn was received by DHQ Hospital Ghiljo in unconscious condition. There was only heart beat and no respiratory rate which was quite a critical stage of newborn. After resuscitation, oxygen provision in emergency and immediate medical attention respiratory rate become regular. The child survived and improving now.
Under Public Private Partnership Initiative, MERF is operating health facilities in five newly merged district of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. The objective of the project is operationalization of the hospitals and provision of quality health care services to the general population with specialized health services particularly MNCH.
