Our radiology center is located on a street that leads to the main bus station, a path taken by many every day. For the last 10 summers, as the temperature rises, we place cold and clean drinking water. We have seen people stop, take a sip, fill their water bottles, and pause for a moment of relief.

We also keep a banner about heat stroke, its symptoms, and what to do. Not everyone reads it. But sometimes, someone does. And sometimes, that knowledge spreads further than we’ll ever know.

This is not a big initiative but a small help we’ve continued over the years.

Birth defect of nose => One nostril in abnormal location near eye.

Clinical information: Suspected case of lt fronto ethmoidal encephelocele since birth.
Findings: Tubular structure, most likely to be left external nostril, is seen arising from left medial canthal region. Proximal part is bony and distal part is cartilaginous. Findings suggestive of midface congenital deformity – Proboscis Lateralis on left side.
