Kasthuri Manjal is known for it’s cosmetic, aromatic and medicinal properties from time immemorial. In 1970’s, it was grown in roughly 6000 hectares in India. Over a period of time, the area has dwindled drastically to a stage today where the species itself has become endangered.

Reason: Dumping of a different genotype called Zeodary because of low cost.

Visual Observation: Kasthuri Manjal is light cream coloured similar to that of ginger or mango-ginger while it is yellowish is Zeodary.

We provide Kasthuri Manjal instead of Haldi. It will not leave snag stain on skin after application. It has no colour added to it.
