Here are some detailed tips for fighting summer heat for PCOS women:

Stay hydrated and drink some water every 30 minutes. Be prepared in advance as the signs of dehydration show up too late.

To prevent heat stroke avoid getting under direct sun rays.

Enjoy seasonal fruits and veggies as they contain the essential nutrients required for each season.

Exercise in the early morning or evenings to prevent body heat-up after noon hours.

Wear cotton clothes to allow air flow, sweat absorption and cooling.

Limit caffeine intake as it dehydrates your body.

Eat lighter meals to digest foods easily and prevent bloating.

Make up for lost electrolytes after excessive sweating and bathroom breaks. A little iodised salt lemonade or fruits are the best way to get electrolytes.

Do not eat stale food as the food gets stale pretty quickly in summer and may harbour fungus and bacteria. This may cause food poisoning.
