A thought from clinical observation…

The body is constantly adapting.

When alignment changes, muscles, joints, and movement patterns slowly begin compensating to maintain balance.

Over time, these compensations may start appearing as pain, stiffness, weakness, or recurring discomfort.

Sometimes, understanding the structure changes the whole perspective.

Patient (28Y/M) had complains of (1) Pain around right scapula, (2) Headache, (3) Lower back pain, (4) Irritable bowel syndrome (IBS).

He was treated with 3 sessions of acupuncture system of therapies. The treatment is still going on on a weekly basis. So far the following results have been achieved.

(1) The pain and discomfort on the right scapular area was measured as:

Before Treatment: 10 (on VAS*)
After Treatment: 3 (on VAS*)

(2) Headache was measured as:

Before Treatment: 10 (on VAS*)
After Treatment: 1 (on VAS*)

(3) Lower back pain was measured as:

Before Treatment: 10 (on VAS*)
After Treatment: 1 (on VAS*)

(4) Irritable Bowel Syndrom (IBS) was measured as:

Before Treatment: 10 (on VAS*)
After Treatment: 3 (on VAS*)

* The VAS consists of a 10cm line, with two end points representing 0 ('no pain') and 10 ('pain as bad as it could possibly be').

Patient (47Y/M) with frozen shoulder on the right side and also complained of severe GERD (Gastro Esophageal Reflux Disease) issues. The pain on the right shoulder were radiating to the muscles of the upper arm and also he felt some strain on the little and ring finger on the right.

He was treated with Micro Cell Pathy medicines and 8 acupuncture therapy sessions.

The pain and discomfort on the right shoulder joint, upper arm and shoulder connecting the neck were measured as:

Before Treatment: 8 (on VAS*)
After Treatment: 2 (on VAS*)

The GERD issues were measured as:

Before Treatment: 7 (on VAS*)
After Treatment: 1 (on VAS*)

He mentioned during the last interaction, that he stopped taking the antacid pills which he was regularly taking until the 3rd acupuncture session.

Patient (23Y/F) came with a severe neck and shoulder pain (left side) with significant swelling and stiffness on the left shoulder.

She was treated with 3 acupuncture sessions in one sitting over a period of 1 hr 20 mins approximately.

The pain, swelling and the overall discomfort was measured as:
Before Treatment - 10 (on VAS*)
After Treatment - 1 (on VAS*)

A case of conjunctivitis treated through Micro Cell Pathy medicines and Acupuncture.

Patient (31 yrs/ M) with 90% coronary artery blockage after 3 acupuncture sessions. Appreciate his own efforts on following a balanced diet and lifestyle which actually made my job easier.

Feedback from patient (92 yr/F) who was treated by application of Micro Cell Pathy Medicines and went through 8 acupuncture sessions
1. Numbness and dark tone of the skin in the lower part of the legs reduced
2. Pain in the occipital and cervical region reduced
3. Urgency for urination, frequent urination and IBS has reduced considerably
4. Severe giddiness reduced
5. Chronic lethargy is reduced, feeling energetic

Attended a patient (50 yrs/ F) with severe pain in the kidney area (right side). She was suffering with intense pain, nausea and headache. She briefly mentioned that she had a h/o nephrolithiasis (formation of kidney stones) and renal colic. After application of acupuncture points pain subsided drastically and she slept off in 10-15 minutes.

Rotary Club of Bhubaneswar, Capital organised a free Acupuncture Medical Camp in collaboration with A U U M Centre for Native Medicine and Research @ Satya Nagar, Bhubaneswar, from 0900 to 1300 hrs. 10 patients were treated for various painful conditions.
