This is a post I have been meaning to put out for some time now. Why do some people reduce weight fast? Will I ever lose weight? Or is it going to be only inches? Will I get it back?
Our bodies are so unique - age, gender, metabolism, medical history, genes, exercise - there are so many factors which differ from person to person.
That's why the weight loss journey is also so different for each one of us. It's impossible to compare apples to oranges! The only question is are you willing to work on yourself until you get the results you are looking for.
Factors which make a huge difference:
- Thyroid conditions for women
- Menopause changes for women
- Have you been trying to reduce weight by cutting calories? This also increases your insulin resistance and makes it harder to lose weight each time you try.
Also, if you take breaks during your weight loss journey, it becomes that much harder to get back on track!
- What is the fat composition in your body - is it primarily subcutaneous fat / visceral fat / cholesterol? Exercise also makes a HUGE difference if you have higher percentage of body fat.
- What are your STRESS levels? CORTISOL can stop fat burning and cause you to just lose MUSCLE.
- Are you taking medications? Even simple medicines for fever etc will increase inflammation in your body and reduce weight loss. When your body is sick or if you are still recovering, the LAST thing your body is thinking is LOSING WEIGHT!
- How is your DIGESTION? If you are bloated or constipated, you will be seeing slow weight loss until we fix that problem!
- As we age, it is also harder to lose weight.
There are so many many factors here.. That's why it's important to approach the weight loss journey with the right mindset.
Eat right. Exercise correctly. Keep making right changes in your lifestyle.
Me : 5 years back to now - the transformation is POSSIBLE.
Life is all about balance!!

This is the age old question for everyone who wants to lose weight!
Can I burn the calories off after eating this chocolate pastry?

A bad diet can never replace a good exercise regime. Diet is the most important part of your weight loss journey. Establishing good eating habits is definitely going to help you maintain the weight later.
Eat healthy.
Stay Safe.

Breakfast - skip
Lunch - Green salad
Dinner - Soup
Late night - Cake😄
Does this sound familiar?
Have you ever felt you had to have a piece of chocolate or cake after lunch or as a night time snack? I know it's very hard to resist!!
It's not just a matter of self control when it happens.. Sometimes it could be because of your eating habits.
When you starve your body and deprive it of essential nutrition, your body responds with cravings.

There are secrets for figuring out everything. If you see someone making healthy decisions always and eating correctly, chances are they have a few tricks up their sleeve.
My secret for a healthy lifestyle is:
1. Be PROACTIVE - You cannot postpone getting fit until after you fall sick. You have to become about your eating habits, your fitness regime, your health checkups. EVERYTHING.
2. PLAN - This is the most important part of your decision. You have to take care of the details... Like , buying healthy foods, choosing when and how you are going to exercise, planning snacks also(don't think you will just stop eating snacks from tomorrow. Instead plan healthy snacks)
3. PERSEVERE - You have to choose this lifestyle only as long as you want to be healthy. How long is the question on everyone's mind! Lifelong is the answer.

As women, we normally put our family and others before ourselves. We have a massive to-do list, from which we love to keep checking off things. Are you even there on that list?
Successful and strong women know that we can only give what we have.
Cultivate good for yourself, so you can guide your family towards a stronger future.
Happy Women's Day to all the strong women in my life!

"You lose it if you don't use it"
What happens if you don't include some form of exercise at least 3 times a week?
Your muscles weaken and lose bulk including the muscles you need for breathing and the large muscles in your legs and arms. You will become more breathless as you do less activity. If you continue to be inactive you will feel worse, need more help and eventually even simple daily tasks will be difficult.
A lot of us feel the daily chores are enough exercise. But it's important to get your heart pumping - and that will not happen with washing utensils or mopping the floor!! Start with a brisk walk or jog 30 mins three times a week and work your way up.

A should be your goal, rather than just .
What can you do today for your which you know you ought to be doing? Can you ? Can you reduce a cup of coffee, or stop yourself from reaching out for a fried or sugary snack?
Keep making daily. Keep achieving those "highs" as you feel proud of yourself for making the .
