SPF 50 won't fix your pigmentation if you're ignoring THIS one label

Everyone obsesses over the SPF number, but almost no one checks the PA rating and for pigmentation, that's the number that actually matters. An SPF 30-50 is genuinely fine. What you need to look for on top of that is PA+++ or PA++++. SPF + PA together is what gives you true broad spectrum protection (UVA + UVB) which is the real key to preventing dark spots from getting worse.

And no, potato slices will not fix your hyperpigmentation. It's a sweet mummy-dadi nuskha, but raw ingredients in their natural form just aren't potent enough to treat pigmentation the way consistent SPF+PA protection and targeted actives can.

Save this so you remember to flip the bottle and check PA next time you're sunscreen shopping.

Comment "NUSKHA" if you grew up on desi skincare hacks like this one, let's see how many of us tried the potato trick!

Same breakout, third time this month? That's not bad luck.

Most "recurring acne" isn't recurring at all, it's unfinished treatment. Patches calm the surface. Hormones script the pattern. Sleep, sugar and sunscreen (or the lack of it) decide how fast your barrier breaks down. And most of us stop the moment skin looks clear, right when the actual cause is still active.

Clear skin isn't the same as cured skin.

If you've ever wondered why acne keeps coming back after it clears up, swipe through, we're breaking down the four reasons dermatologists actually look for before building a hormonal acne treatment plan that sticks.

Which reason hit closest to home? Drop 1, 2, 3 or 4 in the comments and save this for the next time a "healed" breakout tries to make a comeback.

Cure App's dermatologists help you treat the cause, not just the flare.

Breaking news: your pimple patch isn't treating your acne. It's just hiding it. ๐Ÿ‘€

Not all acne is the same - red, angry breakouts, clogged pores, and post-acne marks all need different active ingredients. Using the same product for all three is probably why your acne skincare routine isn't working.

Dermatologists actually follow a specific system for clearing acne. Swipe to see what that looks like โ†’

Save this for your next breakout, and tell us in the comments: which part of your routine are you missing? ๐Ÿ‘‡

You don't need 10 products. You need to understand 4 ingredients.

Niacinamide balances oil, calms redness and helps fade post-acne marks. Salicylic acid gets into clogged pores and clears acne from the inside out. Vitamin C brightens dull skin and fights pigmentation. Ceramides hold your skin barrier together and lock in moisture.

Once you know what an ingredient actually does, reading a label stops being a guessing game.
But knowing the ingredient is only half the job - your skin needs the right combination for what it's actually dealing with, not what's trending. That's what dermatologist-guided skincare on Cure App figures out for you.
Save this before your next skincare shopping trip.

Which of these four ingredients is already in your routine? Tell us below.

Same jawline breakout every month? That's not bad luck, it's your hormones talking.

Hormonal acne shows up in patterns: where it appears, when it appears, and what else is going on in your cycle. Swipe to see the 3 signs dermatologists look for and what they actually mean.

Because treating the breakout without understanding the cause just means you'll be back here next month.

AI reads the data. Our dermatologists read you.

This Doctors' Day, we're thankful for the dermatologists who take an AI skin or scalp analysis and turn it into a treatment plan that's actually about you - not just the scan, but your skin or hair's history and what it needs next.

Data can flag a breakout. Only a doctor can ask why it keeps coming back.

To every Cure dermatologist who looks past the report and sees the person: thank you for restoring more than skin or hair. You restore confidence, one consult at a time.

Tag the doctor who changed how you see your skin, or drop a โค๏ธ if a Cure dermatologist has been part of your journey.

Happy Doctors' Day
