Over the years, Iโve learned something simple but profound:
Families arenโt asking for guarantees.
Theyโre asking for ๐ฐ๐น๐ฎ๐ฟ๐ถ๐๐.
Before every surgery, I donโt just explain the procedure.
I explain the emotion behind it.
What will happen?
What could happen?
And most importantlyโthat they will never be left alone in the process.
Because no matter how skilled a surgeon is,
Fear doesnโt fade with information alone.
It fades when someone feels seen, heard, and supported.
Not with reassuranceโbut with presence that feels human.

By 2026, AI-powered robotics and predictive intelligence will redefine how healthcare is delivered.
Robotic-assisted surgery is evolving into a standard of care โ offering greater precision, consistency, and safety, while reducing dependency on human fatigue and variability.
Beyond surgery, AI-driven prediction models are helping clinicians identify risks earlier โ from cardiac events to surgical and neonatal complications โ allowing timely intervention and improved outcomes.
The real impact of this transformation lies in making advanced care accessible beyond urban centers. When applied responsibly, AI can help bridge gaps in healthcare access and improve outcomes across communities.

Some recoveries donโt fail because of medicine.
They fail because of misinformation.
Iโve seen patients heal beautifully after surgery โ
and then lose their progress to the noise that follows:
โ ๏ธ Endless supplements
โ ๏ธ Conflicting advice
โ ๏ธ Empty promises
Thatโs when I realized โ
we were fixing hearts in the operating room.
but losing trust outside it.
Thatโs how Wello' Tree began โ
a doctorโs effort to bring honesty back into wellness.
Clean, clinically designed nutritionโbuilt to support recovery, not sell hope.
Because healing doesnโt end when youโre discharged.
It ends when your body and mind feel safe again. ๐

For years, cardiac surgery meant large incisions, long hospital stays, and painful recoveries.
But modern technology has changed that reality.
Smaller cuts
โ
Lesser blood loss
โ
Reduced pain
โ
Fewer infections
โ
Faster discharge
โ
Quicker return to normal life
With advanced 3D vision, precision control, and minimally invasive access, this technique is giving patients a safer, gentler, and faster pathway to healing.
As the article mentions, technology isnโt replacing surgeons โ itโs empowering them.
And for many patients, especially those with co-morbidities, this approach can change quality of life dramatically.
Iโm grateful to The Week for highlighting this important shift in cardiac care.

After surgery, the body isnโt just closing a wound.
Itโs rebuilding:
โ
Strength
โ
Immunity
โ
Confidence
โ
Emotional stability
And when the right nutritional support is missing,
patients feel it first in their ๐ฒ๐ป๐ฒ๐ฟ๐ด๐ ,
and then in their ๐บ๐ถ๐ป๐ฑ๐๐ฒ๐ .
This is why I always say:
๐ง๐ต๐ฒ ๐ฐ๐๐ ๐ฟ๐ฒ๐ฝ๐ฎ๐ถ๐ฟ๐ ๐๐๐ฟ๐๐ฐ๐๐๐ฟ๐ฒ;
Nutrition is not hype.
It is a daily, quiet discipline that shapes recovery more than we realise.

Have you ever wondered what childbirth feels like when the system forgets the mother?
In most hospitals I visited, maternity was treated like just another department.
But childbirth isn't a medical taskโit's a deeply human experience.
Itโs vulnerability.
Itโs strength.
Itโs the beginning of livesโnot just for babies, but for families.
When we built Motherhood Hospitals, it started with one belief:
Birth should be designed around womenโtheir comfort, their dignity, and their emotional experience.
Not noise.
Not chaos.
Not clinical detachment.
But calm.
Support.
Compassion.
Because childbirth isnโt a process to manage โ
Itโs a moment to honor.
To understand what was missing in Indian maternity careโand how we reimagined itโread the full story here ๐

The most important thing a surgeon learns to control isn't the scalpelโit's the self.
A moment in the OT taught me this forever.
When a complication arose during a surgery on a young patient, everything came down to teamwork, trust, and presenceโnot ego.
No panic.
No raised voices.
Just clarity, calm, and collective focus.
Thatโs when I realized:
โ๏ธ Leadership in surgery isnโt dominance
โ๏ธ It's composure, humility, and control
โ๏ธ A calm leader creates a calm and effective team
Whether in an operating room or in life, true leadership isnโt loud โ itโs steady, grounded, and clear.

Everyone said it was too early to trust machines with the human heart.
But sometimes, belief has to come before evidence. โค๏ธโ๐ฉน
India has always been a pioneer in healthcareโespecially when it comes to minimal access cardiac surgery.
Here, weโre doing what the world once thought was impossible.
In my center, over 95% of cardiac surgeries are done through keyholesโusing robotic or laparoscopic technology.
Smaller cuts. Faster recovery. Less pain.
When I started this journey back in 2006, minimal-access cardiac surgery was still a rare practiceโeven in the U.S.
But I believed there was a gentler way to heal.
And that belief worked.
More patients began to recover quicker, and more doctors began to trust the process.
Today, people travel to India not just for technology but for trust.
Because innovation doesnโt begin in a lab.
It begins with someone who dares to believe in a better way to care. ๐
