I’m looking at this picture today, and it feels like just yesterday I was meeting his eyes for the first time. This is my second baby, my beautiful son, and he arrived and brought with him a kind of peace and happiness that only a mother knows. You can see the newness—this was taken when he was only 3 days old! Holding him so close, feeling that tiny weight... it’s the most profound feeling in the world. I am so overwhelmingly grateful for this gift of motherhood. Thank you, thank you, Universe.🪐✨
