Thaiyal Nayagi — A Dream Turned into Reality

It was truly a moment of pride and joy to have Madam Ms. Kanimozhi, Hon’ble Member of Parliament, as our Chief Guest, and Ms. Nina Reddy, a renowned entrepreneur and philanthropist, as our Guest of Honour for our flagship project, Thaiyal Nayagi.

What began as a simple vision has now blossomed into a remarkable mission, to empower 200 underprivileged women by providing them with sewing machines and skill training, enabling them to lead a life of self-reliance and dignity.

When I first shared this dream, many thought it was ambitious and challenging. But with the constant encouragement, teamwork, and support from my dear friends and Rotarians across the globe and clubs from RI Dist 3233, we turned this dream into a proud reality. On October 11th, at the Valluvarkottam Thiruvalluvar Hall, the newly renovated hall, we had the honour of being the first to host an event there, celebrating a cause that truly touches hearts.

Seeing 200 smiling women receiving their machines, each one representing a family now stepping toward stability and happiness , was an emotional and unforgettable moment. This initiative is not just about sewing machines; it’s about stitching together hope, independence, and a brighter future.

Heartfelt thanks to everyone who believed in this dream and stood by me in this beautiful journey. Together, we have made a lasting difference, empowering 200 women and 200 families to live with pride and joy.
