You exceeded your weekend calories 🍔, but don’t panic!
Fat loss is a weekly game.
Let’s say your maintenance calories are 2500 cals = 17500 calories a week
and so you start your diet at 2000 calories = 14000 calories
that’s a 3500 calorie deficit!
So, if you went over calories by 500 calories one day for some reason, youre still at a 3000 calorie deficit for the week!!
So, unless you went full cheat mode to the Chinese buffet... you most likely didn’t destroy your progress
All you need is get back to your routine the next day.
Simple as that, don't complicate it 🔄

NOTHING CHANGES IF NOTHING CHANGES ⏰
Do you ever catch yourself putting off what you need to do, finding endless reasons to delay it for another day? 🤔
I know I have, even now, from time to time.
Over the years, l’ve learned that the “perfect time” to start doesn’t really exist.
The truth is, if you’re searching for excuses not to begin, you’ll always find them! 🚫
“I don’t have time.”
“I’m too busy.”
“I’m too scared.”
“I’m too late.”
“Next month.”
“Next Monday.” (when you said the same last Monday)
And the list goes on ♻️
If you’re waiting for the perfect conditions to change, you’re not setting yourself up for long-term success 📉
Consider this: if you rely on ideal circumstances, sooner or later, something will come up that conflicts with your goal.
Starting your fitness journey isn’t easy ⛰️
Initially, it’ll push you out of your comfort zone. But like anything else, it becomes easier with time.
Fitness taught me that for things to change, I had to change!
And if I wanted to achieve my goals, I needed to GET STARTED.
Remember, you’re the one who decides whether it’s time to change for the better.

Seriously you can I am not even kidding.
When I first started my fitness journey, I thought that the only way to success was through “clean eating and avoiding bad foods” This type of mindset led me to cheat often, which became a binging cycle of restricting, cheating, feeling guilty, repeat 🔁
The toxic loop you wouldn't want to get stuck in.
It turns out all you need to lose body fat is to be in a calorie deficit 🔻
AKA, consume fewer calories than you burn daily.
So you can have everything in moderation.
I like to use the 80/20 rule 📊
80% of your food comes from highly nutritious whole foods and 20 % from anything I crave for.
It’s not just about weight loss but also health overall.
You succeed in your diet when you enjoy what you eat.
Isn't that what a sustainable health diet should be about‼️

Today I have DECIDED I will have a great day ✅
Something that I get asked very often is, how come you’re always motivated?
Don’t you ever have bad days?
You’d be surprised, but most days, I actually don’t feel “motivated”.
Life responsibilities, work, etc. I have a lot on my plate, and sometimes I just feel overwhelmed.
Life isn’t easy, full of ups and downs like a rollercoaster, but I know that to reach my goals, I need to be consistent, and it doesn’t matter whatever is going on.
All I can do is to keep a positive state of mind and do my best.
Most times that’s more than enough 🍃
Wishing that weekend is filled with peaceful moments and it gives you sense of inner peace 🌌🍵
