WFP Launches Needs-Based Food Assistance for Rohingya Refugees

2 April 2026 | Dhaka , The World Food Programme has introduced a new needs-based food assistance system for nearly 1.2 million Rohingya refugees in Cox's Bazar and Bhasan Char.

Under the Targeting and Prioritization Exercise (TPE), support levels now reflect household food insecurity. The most vulnerable families will continue receiving the highest assistance, while all refugees remain covered to meet minimum food needs.

WFP says the approach follows global humanitarian standards, ensuring fair and effective distribution while prioritizing those at greatest risk.

I am a humble respectfully state that I want to bring into your kind attention for one helpless widow woman,I am requesting all of you to donate some help for a poor helpless widow, she has nobody in this world to support her for her treatment,she is alone,and she is a serious disease long time but unfortunately before 2 days she got operation for abdomen intestines, but now she doesn't has money and she urgently need some money for treatment to buy medicine and one wheelchair, So please help her in this critical condition may Allah will help you all.

မြန်မာစစ်တပ်ရဲ့ ဖွဲ့စည်းပုံမှာ ဗိုလ်ချုပ်ကြီး ၉ ဦးအထိ ရှိလာနေပြီး မကြုံစဖူး အခြေအနေဖြစ်ပါတယ်။

ဒုတိယဗိုလ်ချုပ်ကြီးအောင်လင်းဒွေး၊ ဒုတိယဗိုလ်ချုပ်ကြီးရဲဝင်းဦး နဲ့ ဒုတိယဗိုလ်ချုပ်ကြီး ညိုစောတို့ကို တပြိုင်နက်ရာထူးတိုးပေးလိုက်တဲ့နောက် ဗိုလ်ချုပ်ကြီးတွေ ဖောင်းပွလာတာပါ။

သမိုင်းတလျှောက် မကြုံစဖူး ရှုံးနိမ့်မှုတွေနဲ့ ရင်ဆိုင်နေရတဲ့ မြန်မာစစ်တပ်အနေနဲ့ အခုလိုဗိုလ်ချုပ်ကြီးတွေ တိုးမြှင့်ခန့်ထားမှုက ဆုံးရှုံးသွားတဲ့ နယ်မြေတွေ ပြန်ရဖို့ အားထုတ်ကြိုးပမ်းတာလို့တောင် မဆိုနိုင်ဘူးလို့ စစ်ရေးအကဲခတ်တွေက သုံးသပ်ပါတယ်။

စစ်ခေါင်းဆောင် ဗိုလ်ချုပ်မှူးကြီး မင်းအောင်လှိုင်ဟာ ယုံကြည်စိတ်ချရသူတွေကို ဝန်းရံပြီး အာဏာစက်ဝန်းအတွင်းစည်း ခိုင်မာအောင်လုပ်တာဆိုတဲ့ အမြင်တွေက ပိုအားကောင်းနေပါတယ်။
