Treating PCOS : Polycystic ovarian syndrom is now a days common condition of hormonal imbalance among females of child bearing age causing enlarged ovaries with multiple small cysts.
Symptoms may be menstrual problems, infertility, obesity, acne, loss of scal hair , unwanted hair, mood swings or depression.

The main factor for treating pcos is weight management and insulin resistance. The symptoms can be controlled by improving diet and lifestyle .
A healthy pcos diet should be planned in a balanced way including
Fresh food,
Whole grain cereals and pulses,
Dark and green vegetables,
Good quality protein and fat,
Some types of fish,
Nuts and seeds.
Foods to be avoided:
Fast ,Processed and canned foods, white sugar, white bread, bad carbohydrates and bad fats.

Diabetic diet sample
Breakfast :
Missi roti : 2pcs
(Made with ¼ cup wheat flour, ¼ cup besan and
1/2cup jowar ka atta )
Curd : 1 katori
Midmorning :
Herbal tea and mix nuts( 4 almonds, 4 akhrot,1tsp
flex seeds )
Lunch :
Brown rice : 1/2katori,Roti : 2 pcs
Dal– 1katori, beans bhujiya – 1/2katori
Cucumber salad
4.00 pm :
Green tea with 2 marrie biscuits
Late evening :
Chana masala -1 katori
( fry soaked chana in 1/2tsp oil , onion and green
chilli, add some lemon juice and salt)
Dinner :
Roti -2pcs
Kaddu ki sabji -1katori

Immunity booster home made soup recepie

Quick and easy method to make a super tasty soup to help boost our immune system and increase our chances to stay fit and healthy.

For two people,
Cooking time : 20 minutes
Ingredients :
Carrot - 1 medium
Beet root - 1/4 of a medium beet.
Tomato - 4 pcs medium.
Ginger - 1/2 inch
Garlic - 6 cloves
Rock salt ,( sendha namak )
Black pepper, Amchoor powder - 1/2 teaspoon
Flax seed powder -1 teaspoon (optional)
Desi ghee -1 small spoon
Preparation :
Wash peel and cut the carrot , beet and tomatoes into small pieces, boil in a cooker for 5-6 whistles. Let the cooker cool down, then blend all the vegetables into a smooth paste.
Heat the ghee on a pan , add finely chopped ginger and garlic , soute for 1 minute, transfer the vegetable paste into the pan, add amchoor powder, salt and black pepper to taste, adjust the consistency by adding water or fresh cream, cover the pan and cook for 2 minutes in low flame.
Its ready.
You can inhance its goodness by adding flex seeds powder . This soup bowl is a rich source of vit A, vit C, Iron, and antioxidant Lycopene.

What is the best time to drink milk?

Milk has been nourishing us since the beginning of our lives. Loaded with good quality protein, calcium, potassium,magnesium,vit A, B1, B2, B12, vit,D, milk forms a valuable part of our diet.
We consume milk in many different ways as a part of porridge or desert, or in the form of curd , cheese,or paneer, add with cornflakes or muesli or drink as beverages like milk shakes or haldi dudh etc. To make the most of the health benefits we should know the good time to have it.
The good time for milk varies accordingly:
If a person drink milk as a stand alone beverages, it is good to have it in the late evening till bed time when the body is relaxed and ready to repair. Also in bed time milk helps for a sound sleep due to its sedative properties , that is also a reason, one can feel lethargic throughout the day if he drink milk in the morning.
If a person drink milk for body building and muscle growth then it should be taken in the morning or after exercise and workouts.
Children under age of 10 years should have milk at least two times in a day , in the morning and in the evening or night .
Milk can be taken as a part of breakfast cereal in the morning for filling and sustained release of energy .
Milk as curd or chach, or lassi contains probiotics which helps in gut microbiome can be taken in the day time and with or after a meal.
