This morning, our journey took us to the quiet lanes of Kulhena Village. We visited a Government school there with a simple intention — to talk about something that is still whispered about in many homes: menstruation. 🌸
As we sat with the young girls, there was hesitation at first… shy smiles, lowered eyes, and many unasked questions. But slowly, the room began to change. Conversations opened up. Curiosity replaced silence.
We spoke about menstrual hygiene, answered their questions, and distributed sanitary napkins so that every girl could manage her periods with dignity and confidence. What touched us the most were their bright smiles and the courage they showed in speaking up. 💗
Sometimes change doesn’t come from big events — it begins in small classrooms, in honest conversations, and in moments when a girl realizes there is nothing to be ashamed of.
Today was one such moment.
A small step… but a meaningful one towards breaking the stigma and empowering our daughters.
If even one girl feels more confident about her health after today, our visit was worth it. 🌼

We organized a free distribution of sanitary napkins in Khorkar Village and Tantri Village, Faridabad to promote menstrual hygiene awareness among women and young girls.
Menstruation is a natural part of life, yet many women in rural areas still lack access to proper hygiene products and information. Through this initiative, we aimed to support women with essential sanitary supplies and encourage open conversations around menstrual health and hygiene.
Seeing the smiles, gratitude, and confidence among the women and girls reminded us how important such efforts are. When women are empowered with knowledge and resources, entire communities grow stronger
Let’s continue working together to spread awareness and ensure that every woman has access to safe menstrual hygiene.

In order to induce change in the society, the first step is to change our own perspective. To gain independence from the traditions that held us back, we have to come out of our comfort zone and claim our right to health and hygiene. We will have to learn to laugh at Stigma hovering our society.
