A 12 year old patient complained of sensitivity to cold food. On examination deep cavities were detected between her front teeth. Cause was improper brushing. There was a layer of soft food over all her teeth.

We could bring back her smile and treat her sensitivity issue with fillings that matched her teeth colour.

Most importantly we taught her how to take care of her teeth. Can't stress enough about brushing and flossing everyday.

Start them young!!!
Brushing should start when the first teeth appear in the mouth ( around 5 months).
🦷Use a soft brush with a small head.
🦷Use the brush made for that particular age group
🦷In case of infants brushing without using a toothpaste will also work
🦷 Use only a grain size of paste for children below 3 yrs and pea size for children above 3 yrs of age ( Recommended by American Association of Pediatric Dentistry)
