Every long-term relationship goes through a death.

Not the death of love, but the death of old versions of ourselves. For the new version to be born.

We got married in November 2010.

Relationships generally move through 7.5 year cycles. We’re now completing our second cycle together.

The last few years have been some of the hardest for both of us.

The first half of life is often built on conditioning—the beliefs, roles, expectations, and survival patterns we inherit.

The second half is where the real work begins.

Where you consciously decide what stays, what goes, what grows, and what evolves.

The question isn’t whether a relationship changes.

The question is whether two people are willing to evolve together.
