Pano Tour - Piers Gorge | Norway, MI, USA

Located on the Menominee River, the area gets its name from the drops that look like “piers” as they fall over rock ledges. These create four sets of rapids. Featured in this panorama is Mishicot Falls which is the biggest of the drops at about 8′ high.

The main flow runs headlong toward Volkswagen Rock, which can create a significant pour over/hole at higher flows.

As you look around, you can also take in the fall beauty and amazing rock formations as well.
