Last week I had the good fortune to speak to more than 600 students of the prestigious Masai school. The call was organised by my dear friend Tanya for who I am deeply grateful.

My most important goal with Brew Renew is to bring awareness to people about consumerism, global warming and our environment through the coffee waste that most of us produce on a daily basis.

When we talk about climate change, it becomes such a huge issue that even the mere scale of it can make us feel overwhelmed however by bringing the attention to our daily habits and to the waste we produce as individuals, we can take small steps towards a better world.

I am reminded of a very powerful quote that I read online sometime back.

"It's just a straw, said 8 billion people."
