আনন্দধারা বহিছে ভুবনে,
দিনরজনী কত অমৃতরস উথলি যায় অনন্ত গগনে ॥
পান করি রবি শশী অঞ্জলি ভরিয়া–
সদা দীপ্ত রহে অক্ষয় জ্যোতি–
নিত্য পূর্ণ ধরা জীবনে কিরণে ॥
বসিয়া আছ কেন আপন-মনে,
স্বার্থনিমগন কী কারণে?
চারি দিকে দেখো চাহি হৃদয় প্রসারি,
ক্ষুদ্র দুঃখ সব তুচ্ছ মানি
প্রেম ভরিয়া লহো শূন্য জীবনে ॥

आनन्दधारा बहे रे जग में
दिवस-रजनी कैसे अमृत रस
उथलि जाए अनंत नभ में ॥
पान करे रबि-शशी अंजलि भर-भर
सदा ज्योति जले अक्षय ज्योति
नित्य पूर्ण धरा जीवन प्रकाशे ॥
बैठे अपने मन क्यों सुध-बुध हारे
स्वार्थनिमगन किस कारण रे ?
खोलो आंखे चहूं - दिशि हृदय विस्तारो
तानिक दुख सभी तुच्छ मानों
प्रेमप्रीत भरो सूने जीवन में ॥

Fountain of happiness stream

across the universe.

Night and day does joyful ambrosia

in the infinite firmament disperse.

Of the sacred offering does

the Sun and the Moon partake;

May this eternal flame

forever burn and illuminate!

Let its golden rays

our little lives fulfill;

Let the stream of joy

flow on unceasingly still!

Sittest thou, lost

in supreme soliloquy?

Contemplating selfish thoughts

the world fails to see?

Open thou, then,

thy cloistered heart and gaze!

From thy restless mind

narrow recriminations erase.

Fill thee copiously

thine empty soul with love;

And let joy unbound

flow from Heaven above!
