I am eager to establish a connection with Mahadev through my traditional attire and Bengali Kolka designs, which reflect the principles of 16 Sringar. Interestingly, many Hindus use henna designs to reach out to Mahadev, but the Sastras and Vedas highlight Kolka as the authentic method, utilizing natural ingredients like chandan. Given that henna is an art form introduced by Islamic culture, I strongly believe that Kolka and Alta are essential elements of the Satvik approach to upholding the 16 Sringar of Maa Adishakti Durga. As a Bengali, I frequently create such art, and my aspiration is to make it accessible worldwide.
