After moving out of Bangalore, I used to crave for hyderabad mutton haleem, but unfortunately I wasn’t getting that flavour anywhere else… so I decided to prepare it on my own this winter… and after a lot of efforts.. today finally I prepared this awesome delicacy… and blv me, its just lovely & yummmmm!
And …. my soil less microgreens are ready for consumptionin 5 days. This is a mix of moong and broccoli microgreens. Moong microgreens are rich in protein, vitamins A, Bcomplex, C, E and K and also full of antioxidants that promotes glowing skin, healthy scalp and stimulates hair growth, while Broccoli is Vitamins A,C,E, calcium and potassium that is great for collagen synthesis, anti- ageing and protection against harmful UV rays….!
I grew them in water medium, using blindfolded method, so they did not develop the green pigments or chlorophyll yet, and this process is called etiolation.
This doesnt make much difference in the nutrient contents, it’s just an experiment that i tried…🙂…
it is crunchy, tasty and goes great with salads or sandwitches…🙃

My seasonal mini garden of veggies… every year, before winter season i love growing some terrace veggies like lettuce, bok choi, mustard cabbage etc… it is a very engaging and joyful activity during the winter… I prepared this base with some garden soil, vermicompost and cocopeat, and my husband planted the seeds… day before yesterday, and look how they cute seedlings have just sprouted to this new world..🥰… if you are interested, I will share regular updates about them… 🥬🥬🍃🌱🌿
