Try this revitalising cucumber-mint juice which is a quick and easy drink that you can add to your morning routine.
One of the most hydrating veggies around, cucumber boasts of multiple health benefits including weight loss. A low-fat, low-calorie food, cucumber is one ingredient that is made up of more than 90 percent water! It is brimming with antioxidants, which are vital for the body to fight against diseases. Its high water content cleanses the body and aides digestion further facilitating weight loss.
And the addition of mint brings a number of health benefits. From being a great antioxidant to boosting digestion, it is much more than just a refreshing ingredient to the drinks. It stimulates the digestive enzymes faciluating better absorption of nutrients from food which in turn boosts metabolism and helps in weight loss. Combined with lerton, which not only adds a zing to the drink but also make it vitamin C rich. It also detoxifies the body, reducing the chances of excess weight gain.
Preparation Time: 10 Minutes
Ingredients:
1 Cucumber, peeled and diced
Mint Leaves, 7-8
Lemon, 1/2 (Optional)
Black Salt, to taste
Cumin powder/ Galjeera powder
Instructions:
1. Peel, wash and dice a cucumber.
2. Add into a blender, with Mint leaves.
3. Blend into a juice consistency.
4. Strain into a shot glass.
5. Add lemon juice and black salt.
6. Consume 4-5 times a week.
