One of the first areas to show makeup breakdown is the eyes and under-eye area. But why does it happen? The under-eye area is already delicate and constantly moving when we blink, smile, squint, or cry. Add tears and rubbing, and makeup can quickly become patchy, cakey, or separated. Common Reasons for Patchiness: • Tears sitting on the skin for too long • Rubbing or wiping the eyes repeatedly • Excessive concealer or powder application • Dry or dehydrated under-eye skin • Oil from the skin mixing with tears • Waterproof products being rubbed instead of gently blotted How to Fix It (For Brides & Anyone Helping the Bride): Don’t wipe tears across the face. Let the tear collect and gently absorb it with a tissue corner or Q-tip. Dab—never rub. If makeup starts separating, lightly press the area with a clean makeup sponge instead of adding more product immediately. Keep cotton buds, tissues, and a small powder compact handy for touch-ups. If you’re helping the bride, resist the urge to “clean” the tears by wiping. Gentle blotting is always safer. Pro Tip: The faster a tear is absorbed, the less chance it has to dissolve makeup and create those patchy under-eye spots. Even the best products aren’t designed to survive tears sitting on the skin for minutes at a time. Technique often matters more than the product itself. ✨ Makeup can be made tear-resistant. ✨ The way tears are handled determines how well it stays intact. 01/06/2026

People often think that once you complete makeup school or a professional course, you’ve learned everything there is to know about makeup. The truth? Makeup school teaches you products, application, color theory, techniques, and fundamentals. But the real lessons come from experience. From working with different skin types, handling unexpected situations, understanding what lasts in real life versus what’s taught in textbooks, and discovering countless little tricks that only years of practice can teach. After 16 years in the industry, I can confidently say that learning never ends. Every face teaches something new. Every client teaches something new. Every mistake teaches something new. The tips, techniques, and makeup science I share here are not just from books or courses—they are lessons gathered through years of hands-on experience. Because true mastery isn’t about knowing everything. It’s about staying curious enough to keep learning. ✨ 16 years down. ✨ Still a student. ✨ Still learning. ✨ Still growing. Age correct is what i call it. Dewy, soft makeup with healthy looking skin. No filter, no edit And here we go.... finishing it up by spraying makeup fixer. Fixer from @macpro [Grwm, makeup reels, reels, makeup tutorial] 16/08/2025

Not every makeup has to be bridal or party makeup. Subtle contour for young girl is the key to keep it younger and fresher. Good blush and highlighter to retain the age. [Makeup reels, reels, makeup videos] #makeupbypoonamshah 16/08/2025

Light to medium buildable foundation for her skin, with a bit of concealer. Concealer blends best with finger, i prefer using ring finger over blemder as it help pushes product onto the skin. [Reels, makeup reels, step by step, makeup process] #makeupbypoonamshah 16/08/2025

Considering her younger age, I personally wouldnt prefer to make her eyebrows dark snd stark. Using skin/ tinted eye pencil to ope her eyes instead of using kajal and make her eyes look small. Wine eye pencil @chamborgeneva Kohl @maccosmeticsindia @macpro Tinted eye pencil @paccosmetic Mascara @urbandecaycosmetics Brushes @beautilicious_india @paccosmeticspro @sephora_india @mudcosmetics 16/08/2025

Very basic and quick skin prepping before makeup. While there are many skin care products and many steps routine available. The best that would always work unless there is a skin concern is: Step1: Spray normal water. 2: Spray Spring water for cooling and and instant Hydration. 3. Moisturiser What matters is understanding the skin a d what products to use. ( Way of using it, wasting it or using products contradictory to your skin... everything matters.)
