आज वरळी पोलीस कॅम्प गणपती मंडळ आयोजित पोलीस कॅम्प मॅरेथॉन रन स्पर्धेला व सायकलिंग मॅरेथॉनला फ्लॅग ऑफ केले. या ठिकाणी भव्य क्रीडा महोत्सवाचे आयोजन करण्यात आले असून त्याचे उद्घाटन केले व सर्व स्पर्धकांना शुभेच्छा दिल्या.

आज नेहमीप्रमाणे कोस्टल रोड प्रकल्पाला भेट दिली. संबंधित अधिकारी आणि इंजिनीअर्सकडून या कामाची प्रगती आणि त्यात वेगवेगळ्या टप्प्यावर येणाऱ्या अडचणीही जाणून घेतल्या. या समस्या दूर करत मुंबई कोस्टल रोड प्रकल्प वेगाने पूर्ण करण्याचा आमचा प्रयत्न आहे.

या मार्गाचे काम योग्यरितीने पुढे जात आहे. तिथे तयार होत असलेला सायकल ट्रॅक, ग्रीन ओपन स्पेसेस, पादचारी मार्ग सोबतच अथांग समुद्रकिनारा हे दृश्य मुंबईच्या आकर्षणात भर घालेल.

This afternoon, I did my regular Coastal Road visit with the officers and engineers of the project, to check on the progress of the work and identify and sort out hurdles at various levels, so as to expedite the Mumbai Coastal Road project.

While the road is coming along well, I’m personally excited about the bicycle track, walking pathways, and the huge sea ward promenade that runs along the entire length, apart from 96 hectares of green open space.

Today, I launched the commencement of various works to increase functionality and aesthetics in my Worli constituency. These works will set a new precedent in the Ease of Living standards.

We started with initiating junction beautification & footpath improvement works near Nehru Science Centre.

bmc has been working to transform under the bridge spaces at Senapati Bapat Marg into Urban Spaces, initiated beautification works for the same.

Footpath surfacing and beautification works at Pandurang Budhkar Marg, Sayani Road, Gokhale Road, Dr. Annie Besant Road for enhanced mobility.

We also initiated the much-awaited Hilltop Lane beautification works.

I sincerely thank Minister Eknath Shinde ji and UDD for their crucial support. Also grateful to Aditya Birla Group & Phoenix Mills for their backing to two of these initiatives. We are constantly working towards Worli A+
