“I was always passionate about grooming people with makeup and it was at the age of 16 when I decided to take it up as a career after my parents helped me gain a clearer perspective of it. I really looked up to my independent grandmother for inspiration; she stood as the backbone of the family setting up her own Saree Business at a very young age. I thought to myself, “if being a woman she could do all of this by herself, especially in those times, I can do something too.” I wanted to be like her — bold and individualistic. So thereafter I started my journey towards becoming a Celebrity & Bridal Makeup Artist. Coming from a background that is totally unrelated to the industry, I had to start from scratch but I’m glad that I chose this path. I’ve worked for celebrities, Miss Universe, Miss India, and Mr. India for 4 consecutive years and I’ve done over 100 weddings, successfully completing 7 years in the Makeup Industry.

I believe that giving to the needy is a source of happiness not only for them but also for our own selves which is why I’ve been contributing out of my profits ever since I was in school. As a proud member of a social group, I also serve the blind people all over Maharashtra with 1 month worth ration on the occasion of Amavas every year. Besides this, I visit the orphanages and provide home-cooked food to the underprivileged through a club.

Being at the age of 23, I feel blessed to have achieved all of this but I know that I still have a long way to go. I aim to work more and create a space for myself in the industry post which I’d like to set up a school extending free education to the poor. When the juvenile girl in me was told that she was the reason behind a family being fed, she knew she had to be there for the people." .
