PREHOLI TIPS

HAIR CARE

*Oil your hair with coconut /castor/olive oil

*Keep your hair tied in a bun and cover with a scarf or bandana to prevent the colors coming in contact with your hair and getting frizzy

SKIN CARE

*Apply coconut /olive oil/ moisturising lotion all over your body including earlobes and behind ears atleast 15-20 min before you step out

*Dont forget to apply generous amount of sunscreen all over the exposed parts of the body 15-20 min before you step out

*Protect your nails with a coat of nail paint and lips with ample amount of lip balm with spf

*Sunglasses are a good way of protecting your eyes from colors

HYDRATE
*Drink plenty of water before you start playing Holi

CLOTHING
*Ensure you choose clothing which covers maximum parts of your body preferably cotton

* Avoid denims and synthetic clothing

*Avoid staying in wet clothes for long as prolonged contact can lead to seeping of colors into the skin and can cause rashes

*Opt for natural organic Colors

*Synthetic Colors are harsh on skin and tend to cause allergic rashes and breakouts

POST HOLI CARE

*Use mild shampoo and a good conditioner and serum for hair after playing with colors

*Use gentle cleansers instead of facewash or soaps to remove colors

*Avoid rubbing or scrubbing as it removes a protective skin layer

*Use lukewarm water rather than hot water to bathe

*Apply a good moisturising lotion to entire body after bath
