Within a short span of 22 years Tanveer shaikh has carved a niche for himself in the world of hair design and styling and is today an expert educator in the field, running his own academy Tanveer’s Hair academy and studio
The ace stylist started his journey in Mumbai with Lakme lever and was soon anointed the national chief creative stylist and went on to become an integral part of the Lakme Fashion Week for 10 years. He has also worked for commercials for top brands, movies and fashion shoots. Through his sheer vision Tanveer likes to design his own styles and creates his unique seasonal looks. It’s not surprising than that he was invited to work with India’s leading fashion designers and was recently awarded i Diva talk 2012 Young Generation Award for making great strides in his career when still so young. At his academy Tanveer’s Hair academy the hair expert combines his knowledge and experience to conduct hair workshops and seminars across India. Through his training Tanveer stresses on understanding the art of managing your hair as a science. His students just don’t step out as future hair professionals but also take along his vision of making hair management a part of their educational DNA. He has launched educational hair styling DVDS and also runs an institute in collaboration with Kallisto Salon and Spa, Mumbai.
