Time for some Hair tips :
Henna: 'Vegetable Dye'. For some unexplained reason many of us reach out for 'Henna' the minute we see the first strand of White hair. What kind of magic do you think will happen?
a) Application of henna will not slow the 'greying' process. Grey hair does not move slowly - it gallops.The ratio of advancement is ( usually ) exponential, approx. 2-4-8-16..(then again it follows a genetic pattern. Some have more and some less.)
b) It has astringent qualities that rob the hair of its natural oils. Please take note that your hair - after many applications - looks like you fought with a Grizzly Bear!
c) A hairdresser's nightmare - Application of henna leaves ORANGE undercoats which interfere with depositing colour like ASH tones.
d) Henna costs little or nothing..BUT can take your wallet to the cleaners..when you try to undo the treatment. (0ne word 'HELL' for the stylist. So please be kind to them when they are trying to help you cleanse 'henna' from your hair.)
e) It could take 6 months to 1 year to cleanse the henna out of your hair.
