This isn’t weight loss. It’s body contouring.
One session. Four weeks.
The difference isn’t dramatic because the patient lost a lot of weight—it happened because stubborn fat in the flanks was selectively reduced.
If you compare the before and after carefully, you’ll notice:
• Less fullness over the love handles
• Reduced overhanging skin fold
• A smoother transition from the waist to the hips
• Better overall body contour
CoolSculpting Elite works by freezing fat cells, allowing your body to naturally eliminate them over the next few weeks.
It’s designed for people who are already trying to stay fit but have those frustrating pockets of fat that refuse to disappear.
No surgery.
No anaesthesia.
No downtime.
Would you try it?
Results vary between individuals. CoolSculpting Elite is intended for body contouring and is not a treatment for obesity or a substitute for weight loss through diet and exercise.

Honoured to be part of the launch of the Alma Harmony SI laser platform, bringing together multiple energy-based technologies in a single, versatile system—Q-switched laser, fractional ablative laser, IPL, non-ablative laser, and green diode laser—to address a wide spectrum of dermatological and aesthetic concerns with precision.
It was inspiring to be surrounded by some of India’s most eminent dermatologists, and international faculty Pablo Naranjo Garcia all united by a shared passion for science, innovation, and advancing laser medicine.

“Doctor, my skin suddenly reacts to everything!”
If you’ve ever felt that your skin burns, stings, becomes red, or gets irritated after using products that never bothered you before, you’re not alone.
I recently had the opportunity to speak about why sensitive skin is becoming increasingly common.
The biggest surprise?
It’s often not the skin products alone that are causing the problem.
Our modern lifestyle plays a huge role.
Every day, our skin faces:
• Air pollution
• Harsh sunlight
• Air conditioning
• Stress
• Poor sleep
• Unhealthy diets
• Using too many skincare products
Over time, these can weaken your skin’s natural protective barrier, making it more reactive and easily irritated.
The good news is that sensitive skin can often be managed by going back to basics:
✓ A gentle cleanser
✓ A good moisturiser
✓ Daily sunscreen
✓ Avoiding unnecessary products
✓ Getting enough sleep and managing stress
Sometimes, less is more.
Healthy skin isn’t about using the most products—it’s about protecting your skin barrier.
Thank you to Galderma for inviting me to share the latest understanding of sensitive skin and how we can help patients keep their skin healthy in today’s fast-paced world.
Have you ever felt that your skin has become more sensitive than it used to be? Let me know in the comments.

There are some lessons no textbook teaches. They come only from years of seeing patients, making decisions, learning from mistakes, and constantly striving to do better.
It was an honour to be invited by IADVL Academy as a panelist for the webinar “Practice Management and Clinic Setup for Young Dermatologists,” where we discussed “Mistakes I Made & Things I Wish I Knew Before Starting Practice.”
Drawing from my 16 years of post-MD practice, I shared experiences on building a patient-centric dermatology practice—from communicating effectively with patients and setting realistic expectations, to investing wisely in technology, choosing the right devices, creating efficient clinic systems, and remembering that patient trust will always matter the most.
One message I hoped every young dermatologist took home:
Success in private practice isn’t built overnight. It is earned—one patient, one honest conversation, and one ethical decision at a time.
Thank you to IADVL Academy, the moderators, and my fellow panelists for an enriching discussion. These conversations are invaluable in helping the next generation avoid some of the mistakes we made and build practices that are not only successful, but deeply meaningful.

The treatment landscape in immunodermatology has transformed dramatically over the past decade.
It was a privilege to join an esteemed panel of experts for the adBoard on “Newer Therapies and the Place of Older Biologics in the Management of Immunodermatological Disorders.”
The discussion focused primarily on hidradenitis suppurativa and psoriasis, where I shared insights from over 10 years of experience using biologic therapies in clinical practice.
Some key takeaways from our discussion:
• Biologics continue to redefine treatment outcomes with high efficacy, rapid disease control, and sustained remission.
• Their short- and long-term safety profiles have made them an increasingly preferred option over many conventional systemic therapies for appropriately selected patients.
• Early disease control can prevent irreversible damage, improve quality of life, and reduce the overall burden of disease.
• Despite these advances, important challenges remain—including treatment affordability, limited access, and the phenomenon of biologic fatigue, all of which can impact long-term treatment adherence.
As newer targeted therapies continue to emerge, it is equally important to understand where our established biologics still fit in today’s treatment algorithms. The goal isn’t simply to use the newest molecule—it’s to choose the right therapy for the right patient at the right time.
Always a pleasure to exchange ideas with colleagues who are equally passionate about advancing patient care through evidence-based medicine.

Enjoyed being a panelist at the 12th Dermatology & Allied Specialties Summit today.
Two fascinating discussions:
• GLP-1 agonists and their influence on dermatologic disorders
• Difficult-to-treat facial pigmentation
Medicine evolves. Our understanding evolves. The conversations should too.
Always a pleasure exchanging ideas with colleagues who push the specialty forward.

Low-dose oral minoxidil has transformed the way we treat hair loss. But it’s not a magic pill.

Psoriasis is a chronic inflammatory disease—not just a skin condition—and today we have treatments that can help patients live almost symptom-free.
Individual results vary. Treatment should always be individualized after evaluation by a dermatologist.
Introducing Baby Glow with Teosyal Redensity 1
What gives skin that soft, luminous, “baby-like” glow?
It’s not just brightness. It’s deep hydration, nourishment and healthy skin quality.
Baby Glow is a signature treatment using Teosyal Redensity 1 (RD1) — an advanced skin booster containing hyaluronic acid along with a unique blend of amino acids, antioxidants, vitamins and minerals. By replenishing what the skin gradually loses over time, RD1 improves hydration, radiance, texture and overall skin quality from within.
The result:
• Better hydration and plumpness
• Improved skin texture
• Enhanced luminosity
• A healthier, more youthful appearance
• That coveted “baby glow”
Excited to launch this treatment and help our patients achieve naturally radiant skin that looks refreshed.
