Acne has been one of the most consistent companions of my life—sometimes quiet, sometimes loud, but always teaching me something. Sharing a side of myself I rarely talk about, in the hope that someone struggling with their skin feels a little less alone. P.S. You’ll notice a few acne breakouts in these photos.I wasn’t going to edit them out before uploading them.
Acne doesn’t stop me from doing what I’m supposed to do. It shouldn’t stop you either!

A rewarding few days at AIM 2026.

Grateful to be a speaker, panelist, and workshop faculty at a conference dedicated to shaping the future of dermatology.

✔️ Conducted workshops on Doublo 2.0 HIFU and Dermaroma regenerative peels
✔️ Participated in a panel discussion on botulinum toxin complications and their management
✔️ Delivered a talk on Pre-Aging with Retinol: Science, Prevention & Long-Term Skin Health

My biggest takeaway from every conference isn’t just sharing knowledge—it’s the opportunity to give back to the next generation of dermatologists. To encourage evidence-based medicine, scientific thinking, and a healthy sense of curiosity. And perhaps most importantly, to build the confidence required to navigate the situations where things don’t go exactly as planned—because that’s where experience, judgment, and good medicine truly matter.

A huge congratulations to Aseem Sharma and Madhulika for putting together a fantastic conference and creating a platform that inspires learning, discussion, and growth.

Advisory board discussions on the evolving role of Tildrakizumab in modern psoriasis management — from pivotal trial data to real-world clinical experience.

Insightful conversations around patient selection, long-term safety, efficacy, durability of response, and where IL-23 inhibition fits into the changing treatment landscape of psoriasis.

Always exciting to exchange perspectives on achieving sustained disease control with therapies that combine targeted action, strong efficacy, convenient dosing, and reassuring long-term safety data for chronic disease management.

Had the privilege of speaking at the Skin Science Conclave 2026 in collaboration with the British Academy of Dermatology on a topic we encounter extremely commonly in clinical practice — Post-Inflammatory Hyperpigmentation (PIH).

PIH is the pigmentation that persists after an inflammatory skin condition subsides. While the inflammation may settle, the pigmentary aftermath can remain for months… and sometimes even years… making it emotionally distressing and frustrating for many patients, especially in skin of colour.

My talk focused on how our evolving understanding of the inflammatory, melanogenic and keratinocyte–melanocyte signaling pathways involved in PIH is changing the way we approach both prevention and treatment.

Discussed:• Topical retinoids and azelaic acid• Tranexamic acid and other systemic approaches• Chemical peels and laser-based therapies• Combination and multimodal treatment strategies• And how newer targeted immunomodulatory therapies such as biologics and JAK inhibitors may help reduce or even prevent PIH by controlling upstream inflammation earlier and more effectively

An exciting time in dermatology where pigment management is evolving from simply “lightening pigmentation” toward precision control of inflammation, melanogenesis and skin repair pathways.

Always a pleasure exchanging ideas and clinical insights with colleagues and experts in the field.

Panelist on two webinars. Two diseases. One major shift in modern dermatology.

Had the opportunity to speak on:
• Abrocitinib and real-world experience in Atopic Dermatitis
• Secukinumab, biologics and the evolving management of Psoriasis

What connected both discussions was something much bigger than individual molecules — the rise of newer, targeted therapies that are redefining long-term disease management in dermatology.

Both Atopic Dermatitis and Psoriasis are chronic inflammatory disorders that, in many patients, require prolonged or even lifelong treatment. For years, we relied on broader immunosuppressive therapies that were effective, but often limited by concerns of organ toxicity, monitoring burden and non-specific immune suppression.

Today, targeted therapies are changing that narrative.
From JAK1 inhibition to IL-17 blockade, these newer molecules offer:
• More precise immune modulation
• Higher levels of disease clearance and control
• Better long-term safety profiles
• Minimal to no cumulative organ toxicity compared to many older conventional therapies
• Improved quality of life and treatment adherence

Most importantly, they allow us to think beyond temporary suppression and move toward sustained, confident long-term management of chronic skin disease.

Dermatology is rapidly entering an era where treatment is not just more effective — but smarter, safer and increasingly personalised.

Miss the flu. Not the gym. Not the money. Not the glow.

One shot.
Less sick days. Less fatigue. Less hair fall.
More consistency. More performance. More you.

Inflammation ages you.
Prevention protects you.

Stay ahead this flu season.

Influenza isn’t “just a viral.”
It’s lost workdays, missed workouts, post-viral fatigue, hair fall, and sometimes—serious complications.

What this one shot does:
• Reduces severity of illness
• Cuts down sick days (no disappearing from work or gym)
• Lowers risk of bronchitis & pneumonia
• Minimizes post-viral fatigue
• Helps prevent acute telogen effluvium and accelerate hair thinning (yes, flu can trigger hair fall)

And here’s the underrated angle—

It’s a longevity tool.
Repeated viral infections = chronic inflammation = accelerated aging. You can see how the face looks dull and saggy post a severe viral illness.
Prevention isn’t basic anymore… it’s strategic.

In a country like India, where flu peaks seasonally and spreads fast, staying ahead is smarter. If you’re a traveler who travels often nationally and internationally you’re more likely to encounter newer strains of influenza.

Protect your health. Protect your performance.

This season, don’t recover.
Don’t get sick in the first place. I took mine.
